Tier 3 Reports

A summary report cuts right to the chase and satisfies minimum statutory requirements to document the "facts, statistics, and circumstances determined by the investigation, including the origin of the fire and the estimated amount of the loss." These reports typically involve non-insured properties or insured properties with minimal property damage (monetary loss is expected to be less than the insurance deductible). Use this report when criminal or civil litigation is unlikely. Do not use this report for incidents involving an injury, fatality, or criminal offense.
